Compose and share a spine-tingling, two-sentence horror story in the teen area anytime in October—one teen writer will win a prize! Plus: help make a flying cauldron (a.k.a. group) of bats!
Participants must be teens (12+) currently in Grade 7-12. Teens who graduated high school in May 2024 can also participate in another year of YA programming. Unless noted otherwise, all library activities and programs are free.

Embark on your writing adventure with the Writer’s Guide, a comprehensive resource crafted specifically for new writers. This guide is filled with helpful insights on building compelling plots, creating memorable characters, and navigating the writing process.
