Learn to make a "Dual Holiday" Table Runner. Thanksgiving on one side and Christmas on the other or just use two different 100% cotton printed fabrics. For this project, we'll need two pieces of 100% cotton fabric, preferably all over prints, cut to 36" long by 15" wide. These measurements will fit a 24" table nicely with 6" hanging at each end. If your table is shorter, cut to table length + 12" to allow for 6" to hang over the table on each end. Don't forget your regular sewing supplies (scissors, pins, sewing machine, etc). For thread, we can use black or white for construction then switch to 1 color from the spool to match/coordinate with fabric A and another color from the bobbin to match/coordinate with fabric B. This runner has no interfacing or batting inside. Please have fabrics cut and machines threaded, ready to sew at the start of the workshop! If logging in from a phone or tablet, you will need to acquire the Google Meet app. Instructor: Isis Prentice-Gertig with B Star Sewing Studio.
