An interactive introduction: learn about the history of henna and its introduction to the western world, how henna is made and used in mehndi (temporary skin decoration). Participants will get a small henna cone and guide for practice--as well as receive a small hand design from Mehndi By Shaleen!

• Where: Bellevue Public Library – Large Meeting Room
• Registration opens July 1 at: HERE.
• Participants must be teens going into Grade 7-12 (Fall 2025). Teens who graduated high school in May 2025 can also participate in another year of Young Adult programming. Unless noted otherwise, all library activities and programs are free.
