1 Jun 2025 Fantasy Reading Map (Teen Challenge) 6/1/2025 - 7/31/2025

Get ready to unlock a world of magic, mystery, and epic rewards with our summer reading challenge for teens—only at the library! Read from June 1-July 31 to move across a fantastical map filled with mythical creatures, enchanted lands, and hidden treasures. As you journey through the realm, you’ll collect stamps, conquer challenges, and earn exciting prizes along the way!

Sign up to receive your own Fantasy Reading Map at the Teen Services desk! To participate in the teen program, you must be going into Grade 7-12 by Fall 2025 or a 2025 high school graduate.

How to Play:

Create your own daily reading goal for each map section. The goal can be the same for every section—or you can create a new one each time!

Reading goal examples: Read 30 minutes every day. – Read 15 pages a day. – Finish a book in five days.

• Each map section contains five books, with each book representing one day. Color in a book when you fulfill your daily reading goal. Collect all the books in a map section to please the reading dragons—and to redeem the reward!

• All reading counts! This includes, but is not limited to: books, audiobooks, fanfiction, graphic novels, manga, and much more!

Rewards:

Whether you’re a dragon-rider, spell-caster, or secret adventurer, your next great quest begins with a book! Read to complete each map section and then redeem its reward at the Teen Services desk. You must be present during the library visit in order to redeem your reading rewards.

Prize Orbs:

Redeem a prize orb and you could win: books, bracelets, candy, cool pens, iron-on patches, keychains, lanyards, pool passes, pop fidget toys, rubber charms, scrunchies, and more!

Grand Prizes:

Win one of the ten Grand Prizes! Enter your drawing tickets into the prize boxes located in the Teen Space. You can receive drawing tickets by reading through the Fantasy Map challenge or by participating in summer teen programs—and the following have bonus ticket rewards: Maze Maker challenge, Summerween challenge, Teen “Nailed It!” contest, and the Tiny Art Show.
