The Adult Library Program will begin on April 1 and continue through May 12. Register for the program at the library and receive a chance to win an enameled Dutch oven. Participate in events and read books to earn chances to win prizes. Pick up a brochure at the library for a full listing of events and more details.

Flower Seed Bombs (Teen Kit) For teens (12+) in Grade 7-12 + 2023 high school graduates. Celebrate Earth Day this month by crafting some quick and easy seed bombs at home! Help bees and other pollinators by using flower seeds, paper pulp, and silicone molds & more to grow nourishing wildflowers.

Gamefest Friday, April 19 - 1:30-3:15 PM For teens (12+) in Grade 7-12 + 2023 high school graduates. Hang out with your friends after school for some video, tabletop, and ping pong gaming! We have Nintendo Switch and Wii U consoles--plus a variety of tabletop titles! Attendees may bring games that are multiplayer and rated Teen or below.

19 Apr 2024 Cardio Sculpt 45 Jazzercise (Adult; Ages 18+) 4/19/2024 4:00 PM - 4:45 PM

Jazzercise is the original dance party workout. Feel lighter, stronger and happier after this high-intensity dance-based cardio that mixes modern moves followed by strength training and stretching, targets all the muscle groups for a full body workout. The in-class soundtrack includes a wide variety of today's best music to keep you motivated and distract you from the burn! No dance experience is necessary, as our certified instructors make all the routines fun and easy to follow. Feel free to bring workout bands if you have them. Space is limited and registration is required.

Sign up to share a poem of your own creation or read a piece from your favorite poet. Each participant will get a 5-minute slot. Come to share or just come hang out and enjoy the show as part of the audience! Ages 18+. Registration required.

Embark on an enlightening exploration of tea’s rich heritage and exquisite flavors at our exclusive event! Listen to an engaging talk on the fascinating science behind tea and its role in different cultures and rituals around the world. Take a guided tasting journey featuring a curated selection of premium teas from renowned tea-growing regions and gain practical tips for brewing the perfect cup of tea to elevate your tea-drinking experience at home. At the conclusion of the event, the specially designed tea mug and a sample of tea is yours to keep. Space is limited and registration is required.
